No fim, sorriu.
- Last night was the best night of my life. - comentou, beijando-me na bochecha.
- Mine too.
- So, your birthday is coming. What do you want?
Era verdade! Fazia 16 anos dentro de uma semana.
- The only thing that I wanted is already mine. - disse rindo.
- And what is that? - perguntou intrigado.
- You, silly! - respondi, dando-lhe um beijo no nariz.
- Oh, I see!
- But anything that comes from you is perfect. You know me very well.
Sam não respondeu. Apenas sorriu. Parecia estar a magicar alguma coisa.
- I think I already know what I'm gonna give you! - anunciou.
- What?
- You'll know when it's your b-day.
- Oh, c'mon! Please!
- No! I won't say!
- Oh yeah, Mr. Anderson? It's going to be in that way, huh? I'll stop talking to you! - ameaçei, a brincar.
- Please, don't do that. But, I won't tell a thing. - disse sorrindo.
- Hmmm. - amuei, ainda a brincar. - Fine!
- Silly, you'll know next week.
- Fine!
Dito isto, a campainha tocou.
*Hora de Almoço*
- Wanna go out and have lunch? - perguntou Sam.
- Sure, why not? - concordei.
- I called my father. I have to go to Denmark visit my grandmother. Seems like she's ill and needs to go to the hospital. - disse Sam, tristemente.
- Oh God. That's awful! When are you going?
- In two weeks, since it's vacations.
- I see. And how many weeks are you staying there?
- Two weeks. I asked him if you could go, but he said it's better not to.
- I understand. I'm going to miss you alot!
- Yeah, me too. - comentou, acariciando-me a mão suavemente. - I'll call you everyday.
- Alright. At least, you're going to be here in my birthday. By the way, can you please tell me now what is my present?
- No. You'll see next wednesday. - disse sorrindo.
- Bah! You're a bad guy!
- I might be a bad guy, but you like me.
- I don't like you. I love you. - disse rapidamente. Reparei tinha ficado bastante sério.
- Oh, you caught me! But look who's here.
- Can we leave, pelase? Right now?
- Sure.
Pagámos e saímos do restaurante.
Chegámos a uns prédios amarelos e Sam abraçou-me.
- I'm sorry. We left the restaurant like that. But I just can't face him. I'm very afraid.
- That's okay. Don't worry. I understand. I'm here for you now.
- I know, but...
- No more "but's".
- Hmm.
- Oh, don't come with "hmm" to me. If in the two weeks I'm out, Duarte tries to do something to you, call me and I catch the first airplane to Portugal, ok?
- Ok. I love you, you know? You're the best thing that happen to me.
- I love you more than anything. - disse, e de seguida beijou-me. - Now, let's go back. I think it's time for us to go back to school.
